The Red Room
A room that has the appearance of having been filled up with red paint half way, and then drained out
through floor drains placed in the middle of the floor. A gallery or museum space is the preferred setting
for this installation.Various objects will be a part of the installation, such as paintings, furniture, lamps,
video projections, etc.The objects and furniture are all to be red in color. At the point where the objects
in the space extend above the red portion of the walls, they will be painted white to match the area above
the red line. The room is not actually filled up with red paint, but hand painted in such a way to give the
appearance or impression that it was.
